The Gingerbread City supports MoA’s philosophy of creating unconventional ways for the public to better engage with architecture, whilst challenging architects and designers to participate in designing, baking and building their gingerbread buildings.
Visitors can vote for their favorite buildings with donations and the building that raises the most funds will be deemed the winner.
Three prizes will also be given to projects deemed interesting in terms of design innovation and virtuosity by the visitors.
The funds raised will go towards creating our programming and exhibitions for the coming year that benefit both architects and the public alike.
The Museum of Architecture (MoA) is a charity and pop-up platform that creates exhibitions and programming to help the public better engage with architecture and supports architects to be more entrepreneurial.
MoA provides opportunities for architects to engage with other industries and communities to be better informed about the places and people for which they are designing.
