About the Gingerbread City
The Gingerbread City is an exhibition created by the Museum of Architecture with the aim of connecting the public with architecture and design professions through an innovative themed display.
Now in its fourth year, the city is based on a masterplan designed by Tibbalds Planning and Urban Design. Each year, key UK-based architecture practices respond to the masterplan by designing buildings, parks and public spaces as well as baking them out of gingerbread.
The exhibition is MoA's annual fundraising project that supports its year-long programming and activities as well as its new Museum of Architecture Grant Giving Fund that will launch in Spring 2020.
